Although Esusu was founded in 2018, Abbey’s journey as an entrepreneur did not begin there. Kyle Beatty is a Managing Director at American Family Ventures. Kyle specializes in investing in insurtech, SaaS, data analytics, and proptech startups. He collaborates with founding teams in the areas of market, product, and strategy to accelerate their time to market and increase the pace of their top line growth. Kyle synthesizes experiences as a founder with a prior public exit, public company leader with P&L / M&A responsibility, investor, and scientist. Liza Benson is a Partner with Moderne Ventures and helps lead and manage investment activity with particular focus on high-growth technology companies that can achieve rapid adoption and scale. Previously, as Global Chief Information Officer for Newmark Knight Frank, Raj led the build-out of a robust and connected data platform, which fostered analytical innovation, and created data products for internal use as well to service external clients. As CIO, Raj led the design and development of a new data science platform utilizing Machine Learning on structured and unstructured data sources at Newmark. Prior to joining Newmark, Mr. Bhatti had worked in various technology leadership roles at Royal Bank of Canada, Barclays Capital, Cantor Fitzgerald and Lehman Brothers. Vince Cicciarelli oversees LPC Ventures, a subsidiary of Lincoln Property Company (LPC). Prior to joining LPC Ventures, Vince was one of the early team members of JLL Spark, the venture arm of Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL). In 2014, Mr. Grossman founded The Fairchild Group, which focused on smaller value add multi-family building rehabs in downtown Chicago. From 2014-2018 TFG Purchased and rehabbed approximately $10 million of buildings resulting in an overall value of greater than $15 million.

He was born in Harare, Zimbabwe, and began his construction career as a mailroom clerk and rose through the ranks to become a project accountant at Plaza Construction, a New York City General Contractor. He was one of the early employees at Procore, where he spent 6.5 years working as a Sr. Product Manager responsible for building contracts, invoices, and integrations into Procore's financial tools. Nyasha is a commercial pilot and flight instructor with experience flying private jets for Justice Air & Channel Islands Aviation.

Matt Knight is a PropTech investor focused on commercial and multifamily technology. He is the founder of the largest angel group in the world focused exclusively on technology in real estate, the PropTech Angel Group. Matt was formerly a General Partner at Shadow Ventures, a venture capital fund focused on construction and real estate technology. Sam Kroll is a vice president at RET Ventures, one of the leading real estate technology VCs. Since joining the firm in 2020, Sam has helped lead RET's work across a range of proptech verticals including enterprise financial technology, acquisitions/asset management, capital markets, and data/analytics, and has led numerous investments for the firm across these sectors. Sam began his career as an investment professional at Aquiline Capital Partners and also held operating roles at two Aquiline portfolio companies. Ben has over 20 years of experience working in the real estate software space, both strategically and operationally as a seasoned executive and on the corporate finance, M&A and investment side. Ben set up his own M&A advisory practice, Lerner Associates, in 2019, focusing purely on PropTech transactions. Since joining his family business, Qube Global Software, back in 2002, Ben has been involved in business development, operations, corporate strategy and M&A within the sector. After selling the business to private equity backed MRI Software in 2017 Ben spent time integrating the businesses and looking after UK operations alongside MRI’s US based management team. Both prior to selling the Qube business and throughout his time with MRI and beyond, Ben has been actively involved in M&A on deal sourcing, structuring, due diligence and general advisory. Nate is a Managing Director at Parker89. Previously he was at BCG Digital Ventures where he helped build Endpoint and met Paul. While at BCG he advised Fortune 500 C-suite teams in mortgage, real estate, and financial services on digital strategy and new business creation. Prior to BCG, Nate was an investor at Primera Capital (seed backer of Fandango, Houzz, Chegg, and VMware) where he made early-stage venture investments and worked closely with portfolio companies on product strategy.
