Matthew Lloyd, Founder & CEO of Smartplan. Matthew recently left Google to bring his product to market, a product that is revolutionizing the test-fit process for leasing teams and building owners. In short, Smartplan uses a subset of AI to automate and streamline the tedious process of completing a test-fit, so you can now generate multiple test-fits instantaneously, at 10% of the cost while removing all of the back and forth that currently takes place with the architect. Think ChatGPT for test-fits. Matthew brings almost 15 years of architectural experience to this product, after encountering the same, repeatable, manual motions of being an Architect, day in, and day out, both in the US, Australia, Japan and UK, he quickly discovered there has to be a better way to solve for this almost century-old industry paradigm. So in 2019, he began working on Smartplan.
